Chapter 3 the hopeless case

Bruno still had the idea to leave Gretel behind in Berlin while they all left to Impression of Bruno:
go ‘Out with’ as Bruno thought Gretel was no more than trouble. Gretel acted physically smaller than the
like she was in charge of Bruno just because Gretel is three years older than other boys his age.

had some bad habits. Gretel also liked to collect dolls. Gretel’s friends also
weren’t nice. They like to make fun of Bruno and they enjoyed nothing more Impression of Gretel:

of Bruno just because he is smaller than his age. Bruno thought that they
will still come back to ‘Out-with’ and he would have grown taller by then.
Bruno doesn’t like to reply to his sister when his sister asks him a question.
When Bruno asked Gretel what does the foreseeable future mean, Gretel
gave Bruno the wrong meaning. Bruno hated it at ‘Out-with’ Bruno asked
Gretel what is an ‘Out-with’, Gretel told him it is the name of the house.
Gretel always spoke so highly of father as if he never did anything wrong
before, and he is compassionate about his children. Bruno and Gretel miss
their friends. Bruno revealed to Gretel that there were other people except
them here in ‘Out-with’. Bruno said they didn’t look nice. They did not know
what they were doing there.
