Toothing 啓ᔶ
The coupling housings have a straight interna 㘨䕈఼᳝Ⳉ啓ݙ啓䴶ˈ䕈༫߭Ў啓䴶ˈ
toothing whilst the hubs have an external toothing ᳝ৃবⱘ⊩ञᕘˈℸ䕈༫ৃݙҹ⌏ࡼˈ
with a chased variable radius. As a result, the ϔᅮᑺϞ㸹ٓ䖲䕈П䯈ⱘ㾦ǃᕘǃ䕈
hubs can move s p a t i a l l y w i t h i n t h e h o u s i n g 䇃ᏂDŽ
and thus compensate angular, radial and axial
shaft misalignment of the adjoined shaft ends
within specified tolerances.
D e p e n d i n g o n c o u p l i n g t y p e a n d s i z e , the ḍϡৠⱘ㘨䕈఼㾘Ḑൟোˈ↣Ͼᷛޚ啓䴶ܕ䆌ⱘ㾦
standard toothing permits an angular misalign- 䇃Ꮒ᳔ৃҹ䖒ࠄᑺˈ䕈ԡ⿏ৃҹ䖒ࠄϾ↿㉇DŽ

and an axial movement of several millimetres.
The max. possible radial shaft displacement
is dependent on the distance between the two
too-thing planes.
Other toothing geometries can be used for further гৃḍ⡍⅞ⱘᑨ⫼Ꮉˈމ䞛⫼݊ᅗⱘ啓䴶ᔶ⢊DŽ
specific applications.
Materials ᴤ䋼
High-grade tooth profiles and grease with ultra 催ㄝ㑻啓䴶ǃ䍙催य़⏏ࡴࠖⱘ⍺⒥㛖⹂ֱ䰡Ԣ啓䴶
high-pressure additives guarantee low-restoring П䯈ᘶˈᑊᓊ䭓Փ⫼ᇓੑDŽ
forces and a long service-able life.
The material used is forged steel with an apparent 䞛⫼ሜ᳡ᔎᑺ㟇ᇥᰃ350N/mm2 ⱘ䬏䩶DŽ⡍⅞Ꮉމг
yielding point of at least 350N/mm2 . Special materials ৃҹՓ⫼⡍⅞ᴤ᭭DŽ
can be used for further specific applications.
Sealing is carried out using O-rings and lip-seals of buna N. 䞛⫼Oൟϕ㜜ᓣᆚᇕDŽ
The housings are centred and held together by fit- 䞛⫼㶎ᷧ㞾䫕㶎↡ᇍЁᑊ㋻㘨䕈఼DŽ
bolts and self-locking nuts.
Temperature ⦃๗⏽ᑺ
The use of special seals permits the temperature 䞛⫼ϧ⫼ᆚᇕӊৃҹ䗖ড়Ѣ⦃๗⏽ᑺ᳔催䖒130ćDŽ
limit to be raised to 130 °C.
Balance ࡼᑇ㸵
At peripheral speeds upwards of 30 m/s it is བᵰ਼䗳ᑺ䍙䖛30m/sˈᑨ䖯㸠ࡼᑇ㸵ᅲ偠DŽ
advisable to dynamically balance the coupling.
