Wolves striker Raul Jimenez has been

linked with a shock move to Bayern
Munich.

El Futbolero reported yesterday that the

Bavarian giants have started to look for
potential replacements for Robert
Lewandowski.

The Poland goal machine has been linked

with a move to Barcelona. But Bayern CEO
Oliver Kahn has rubbished those claims
and said the 33-year-old will be with them
next season (IBT).

Supposedly though, Bayern like

Wanderers star Jimenez, who has enjoyed
a fairly indifferent season in 2021/22.

The Mexico international suffered that

horrendous skull fracture last season,
which threatened his life.

Thankfully, Jimenez was able to recover

from the incident for the start of the
current campaign.

Has has had some brilliant moments, and

some really strong performances.

But he has also had some games where he

hasn’t quite been at it.

That is completely understandable given

what happened.

El Futbolero talk about the possibility of a

fresh start for Jimenez so he can truly
rediscover his goalscoring touch.

It is stated in the report that Wolves would

be willing to let him go for the right price.

It is also claimed that Bayern are readying

a first offer of £21 million.

calling for Wolves
striker Jimenez… yet

Jimenez may not have returned as the

same player as before his injury, but he is
still a very important player for Wolves.

That said, if Bayern came in with a good

offer then Wolves probably ought to
consider it.

But given what Kahn has said, it seems

very unlikely any approach will be made
this summer at least.

There is a feeling with Jimenez that he

could possibly stick around at Molineux
until at leas the end of his current contract.

He is adored by the supporters and

obviously, he loves playing for the club.
And he is also extremely grateful for the
support he received in the aftermath of his
injury.

It would be no surprise if the £30 million

signing didn’t have any interest at all in
leaving, even if Bayern did come calling in
later windows.
