cooling output divided by power consumption. The
higher the EER, the more efficient the air conditioner.

moisture to a house, which could
be considered a benefit in very
dry climates. An indirect
evaporative cooler is a little
different in that the evaporation of
water takes place on one side of a
heat exchanger.
