LIFE

CYCLE
OF A
STAR
Nebulae are
the
birthplaces
of stars.
Protostar looks like a
star, but its core is not
yet hot enough for
nuclear fusion.
Main Sequence Star is
a type of star that is in
a stable phase of its
life cycle, during
which it primarily
fuses hydrogen into
helium in its core.
During the final stage
of it’s lifetime, a star
will expand, cool, and
change color,
eventually becoming a
Red Giant.
As a smaller star
begins to cool down
and lose its glow, it
will eventually go
through the Planetary
Nebula stage.
White Dwarf is dense,
hot remains of stars
that have already
perished.
Black Dwarf is a
hypothetical remnant
of a cooled white
dwarf.

Red Super Giant is
capable of creating
heavier elements, like
iron, through fusion.
Supernova is a
tremendously powerful
and energetic stellar
explosion that occurs
when a massive star
reaches the end of its
life cycle.
Neutron Star is a densed mass
of neutron.

Black Hole is an extremely densed

matter after a massive star collapsed
in its core.
