Wizmate
the new software for
managing parametric
controllers

Dixell presents Wizmate, the new software for the

management of parametric controllers.
Wizmate will replace the current Easy Prog software; besides
the renewed graphical interface, new features have been
introduced.
Following are some of these new features:
- reading of parameter maps contained in a Hot Key
- saving of parameter maps in excel format
- comparison of parameter maps
- download only selected parameters

A very important feature is the possibility of creating, saving

and using a Wizard; using dialog boxes, the user is led
through a series of steps to generate a simplified parameters
map (parameters not involved with the application are
hidden).

Main features
Using Wizmate it is possible to:
- read a parameter map saved in a file
- read a parameter map from a device connected to the
Prog-Tool
- read a parameter map from a Hot Key connected to the
Prog-Tool
- transfer a parameter map to a device
IN THIS ISSUE - transfer a parameter map to a Prog-Tool to programm
one or more Hot keys
Wizmate - generate and save parameter maps (saved on map
the new software for format .bin or excel file .xls)
managing parametric - print parameter maps
controllers - compare several parameter maps
- visualize the parameters filtered by group (regulation,
defrost, …)
- simplify the parameter programming of devices with a
lot of parameters (e.g. Ichill 200 and iPro) using a
Wizard; when the procedure is complete, the simplified
parameter map is shown (parameters not involved with
the application are hidden)
- automatic detection of the devices connected to the
Prog-Tool
- the hardware interface to connect the device to the
Personal computer is the current Prog-Tool

How to use Wizmate

Whenever Wizmate is run, an opening screen is displayed; the
default user is “User” (low permission level for parameter
reading).

To access as different user (“Administrator” or other user) it

is necessary to effect the login.

The parameter map is shown as described below; following

fields characterize the map:
Group: every parameter is linked to a specific function
(regulation, defrost…)
Parameter: label of the parameter
Description: parameter description
Value edit/original:

Wizmate Visibility: level of visibility of the parameter

end of November 2008.
For more information about price and delivery date, please
contact our Sales department.
The customers who have already purchased EasyProg may
contact our Customer Service departement to receive
information regarding the installation of the new Wizmate
IN THIS ISSUE software.
Wizmate will be marketed by ensuring compatibility with the
Wizmate instruments listed in the above table and will replace
the new software for EasyProg; any specific requests should be made to the
managing parametric Customer Service department.
controllers Briefly Dixell will release a new Wizmate version by ensuring
compatibility with programmable controllers and allow
programming facilitated through the creation and use of
wizards.

The Wizmate kit (installation CD and Prog-Tool) will be

available in the following models:
