The requirements for people to vote in Spain are being 18 or above years old and live
in Spain. I would add a requirement for people to vote you must read a brief text
where the political parties explain their main points. In this way, is guaranteed that at
least everyone has an idea about what are each party proposal.
2. A country should present the most minimum conditions for someone to vote. In this
way, the results takes into account almost all the population. In the other hand, it is
logical that kids and people who does not know all the information does not vote.
3. I would say that voting is both things at the same time. It is a right, because in free
countries, everyone has the same rights, they are equal before the law. It is also a
responsibility, because the outcome of the voting may lead to a very different country.
4. In my opinion, young people do not want to vote for several reasons. For example, they
tend to see it like an obsolete system that does not represent them. The only way I
think this could be changed is through making proposals that are that good to really
convince young people, which I feel they usually have a better understanding on
politics, meaning that they are harder to convince. aa
