12th 50% Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biolog y/Biotechnolog y, and Eng lish
individually and must have obtained mentioned percentag e taken tog ether in Physics,
Chemistry, and Biolog y/Biotechnolog y. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and
DCI Reg ulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry,
and Biolog y (or Botany & Zoolog y)/Biotechnolog y taken tog ether shall be 40% instead
of 50%.
Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall
not be elig ible to appear for the ‘National Elig ibility Cum Entrance Test’. However, this has
been a subject matter of challeng e before the Hon’ble Hig h Court of Delhi, Hon’ble Hig h
Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon’ble Hig h Court of Madhya Pradesh at
Jabalpur
The lower ag e limit is 17 years on or before 31st Dec of the year of admission (born on
or before 31.12.2006)
