Introduction
Zamzam manufactures Pressure Relief Damper or Non‐ return damper or gravity‐operated damper, counter
balancing damper, Self‐balancing or Backdraft damper
These damper open or close for intake or discharge or pressure relief vents in central HVAC applications.
As the room pressure increases, the blades of the pressure relief damper automatically opens by relieving
the excess pressure in the room and when pressure drops back to normal blades close by gravity or counter
weight or spring.

Features
FRAME : 100 x 40 X 10 mm Galvanized steel Channel. Point welded corners to provides rigidity and strength.
Thickness: 1.5 mm
BLADE : Galvanized steel or aluminum Min 6” width blades reinforced 3 grooves design for more strength
and overlap coverage and with counterweight balance for site adjustments Max. length is 48”.
LINKAGES : Galvanized steel formed brackets and face linkage inside of air stream.
AXLES & STRAPS: 12 mm ø galvanized steel with axle straps bolted to blades.
BEARINGS : ½” Bronze Sleeve Bearings.
SIZES : Made to exact size as required.
Max. size : 50”W x 70”H Divider frame shall be provide for Dampers over max. size.
Min. size : 4”W x 4”H
Round Back draft Size : As indicated in following table.
Dampers 12 inches high and smaller shall be single blade.
Round Neck back draft

Rectangular back draft with round adaptor with the required dimensions
Flanged angle 40*40*4 mm or as specified
