1) Academic Integrity: Academic integrity in the course assignment of students is a
reflection of the trustworthiness, respect, fairness and honesty. Plagiarism is the
incorporation of any ideas, language or research of others without proper citation and
reference to these source materials. As a partner of the foreign institutions in China,
UCMT supports the policies of the partner institutions regarding the elimination of
academic misconduct and plagiarism and cooperates with the dean's office of each
university to complete the check. It is therefore important that current UCMT students
understand that the consequences of plagiarism and academic misconduct can be severe
(including expulsion from the foreign university program in which you are enrolled, etc.).
It is essential that you are fully aware of the rules regarding the prevention of
plagiarism and academic misconduct and, if necessary, discuss them with the
professor and the UCMT academic adviser. The use of English or Chinese check
systems, such as Turnitin, can help students improve their writing and reinforce
appropriate ways of using and citing source material.
2) Student and faculty privacy: No one may record and share any video, audio, or visual
content from an online course in order to protect the privacy of all our students and
faculty in learning environments(including online course). This restriction applies to
live online sessions, taped lectures, live conversations, and discussion boards, among
other things;
3) Intellectual property rights: The intellectual property rights of all materials of the
course (including, but not limited to, content, information, handouts, courseware, test
questions in electronic version, paper version and verbal form, as well as text, charts,
data, audio, video and design contained therein) belong to the UCMT or the instructor or
any other relevant parties. The above materials are for students' study only and students
should keep it confidential. Students are not allowed to disclose, sell, rent, transfer,
licence or share them in any way to third parties without the consent of the owner of the
intellectual property. Any violation of this policy may result in legal defence action.
4) Students will be expected to be participated/on camera during the class sessions
 Without the teacher's permission, any electronic devices(computers, mobile phones,
PDAs, calculators, etc.) are not allowed to use during lectures and examinations,
other than for study purposes;
