Topic: Depletion of Natural Resources

Thesis Statement: The rapid depletion of natural resources such as oil, innocuous water, and
available land for both farming and living, should be taken seriously. We, humans, can no longer
afford to continue our wasteful and rapidly changing lifestyle if we want us and future
generations to still live a good life with as little suffering as possible.

I. Introduction

Loss of availability of natural resources and the livelihoods that depend upon them is
also a major cause of conflict and war, which can jeopardize human rights, further
damage the environment, destroy livelihoods, and harm human health.
A. People who are hungry or have needs that aren’t met, often resort to violence in

B. Loss of natural resources will lead to poor health as manufacturers will focus
more on quantity and not quality.
