mike had a party last month

He had invited all of his friends to his house. He had invited his
work friends, his college friends, and his neighborhood friends.
Guests began arriving around 9 o'clock for the tragic event.

There was my best friend, dressed in a red T-shirt. and Carlos'

girlfriend, Vanessa, put on a blue dress and she looked so cute.

Mike's girlfriend was away because she was away on business.

He was negotiating a big contract in Sao Paolo that day. She
had left the day before and wouldn't be back for five days.

Mike had made lasagna, which was very good. He had made
enough lasagna for 15 people! He had also made salad and
stuffed aubergines. Everything was delicious.

From one moment to the next, the sauce that he had made with
