Performance of share price between 2019 and 2020

Group revenue decreased 5.7% (RM162.7 million) to RM2,689.9 million compared to

RM2,852.6 million recorded in the same quarter with decline in revenue for all lines of
products except for data services. TM ONE recorded a 10.3% (RM110.3 million) decrease in
revenue from RM1,072.4 million to RM962.1 million in the 3rd quarter of 2020 mainly due
to lower revenue from voice, data and other telecommunication related services from lower
usage volume and deferment of customer project activities. Operating costs were recorded
lower at RM976.5 million for the financial period, a 3.5% (RM35.5 million) decrease
compared to the RM1,012.0 million reported for the corresponding period last year, mainly
driven by lower voice outpayment for the current financial period ended.

Suggestion for improvements

TM should acknowledge 5G will play a critical role in catalysing national development. Fast
broadband and wider coverage via 5G will drive more advanced applications for individuals
and businesses alike. TM can expand their network and bridge the connectivity divide to
catalyse Malaysia’s economic, social and environmental progress. Gaining momentum,
posting a 6.3% growth to 1.65 million subscribers, with our total broadband customer base
now at 2.26 million. Telekom Malaysia need more collaborations with strategic partners and
customers towards establishing a solid foundation. Partnered with Funding Society Malaysia
to provide business financing solutions for Micro SMEs.
