Statement of the Problem

This study aimed to determine the Psycho-social Adjustment among

Teenage mothers in Barangay Sampaloc Tanay, Rizal.

1. What is the profile of respondents in terms of:

1.1 name;

1.2 age;

1.3 educational attainment;

1.4 relationship status;

1.5 source of financial support;

1.6 family monthly income;

1.7 parent’s occupation?

2. What are the problems encountered by the respondents with respect to:

2.1 before (Pre-Pregnancy Stage)

2.2 during (Prenatal Stage)

2.3 after (Post-Natal Stage)

3. What Psycho-social Adjustment and extent of adjustment do the Teenage

mothers encountered “during pregnancy and after pregnancy”?

4. Based on the results of the study what programs may be proposed to

prevent teenage pregnancy and to support and protect teenage mothers?
