Bar Examination Dates


Day 1 - Sunday September 17, 2023
Day 2 - Wednesday September 20 , 2023
Day 3 - Sunday September 24, 2023

Examination Site
The following buildings within the controlled area of UST shall be utilized for the 2023 Bar Examinations:

3:30 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. to
stretching from Lacson Avenue to P.

The UST-LTC gate shall be open from 5:00 AM and will close at strictly
7:00 AM. Examinees can only enter and exit the testing site at Gate 3.
The drop-off and pick-up points are located between Gates 3, 2, and 1
along España Boulevard. Examinees will no longer be allowed to exit the
LTC, once inside and until the end of each Bar Examination day.

Meal Areas
The following locations within the controlled area of UST shall be the meal areas for examinees:

Benavides Building / High School Canteen (ground floor);


Quadricentennial Park;
Perimeter of Miguel De Benavides Library; and
Ground Floor Rooms of St. Raymund de Peñafort Building

WHAT TO BRING IN EXAMINATION DAY
(2023 Bar Examinations)

One (1) laptop installed Printed copy of Notice


with Examplify Version of Admission (NOA).

Honor Code, Health Liability Packed lunch food and
Waiver, and Other eating utensils.
Undertakings .

Light snacks and/or candies;


Transparent bag to Water and/or non-alcoholic
carry all essentials. beverages, and water
containers/tumblers.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Laptop bags or laptop sleeves and meal containers need not be transparent.
The surface of your laptop and all its external components should appear as plain, as neutral, as undistracting to
others, and as unindicative of cheating as possible. Remove or cover the stickers or decorations thereon.
Other necessary items:
> One (1) umbrella, if necessary;
> One (1) charger for your laptop; and
> One (1) two-pin type-A plug adapter for your charger, if needed.
Examinees may bring and use for their last-minute onsite review only hard copies of law-related reference
materials.
The list of allowed items may be found in Bar Bulletin No. 6, Series of 2023 Annex A.
Bringing dangerous and regulated implements, e.g., deadly weapons, firearms, alcoholic drinks, controlled drugs and
substances, cigarettes or electronic cigarettes, vape instruments, or any similar items and devices, into the LTC is
absolutely forbidden.
The Bar Examinations is a court proceeding in nature. Thus, kindly dress appropriately. For more information on
the Dress Code, please refer to Bar Bulletin No. 6, Series of 2023 Annex B.
Examinees who do not know how to navigate Examplify will not be given technical and troubleshooting assistance
during the Bar Examinations. The updated Examplify Manual may be accessed here.
The password-protected examination files for the morning and afternoon subjects shall be made available for
download on the Examplify dashboard twenty-four (24) hours before the start of each Bar examination day. Only
one (1) download of each examination file shall be allotted for each examinee.
Any attempt to crack the password of the examination file shall be considered cheating.
Disable all your antivirus programs and operating system updates and removing all digital copies of law-related
reference materials.

Examinees must undergo the following routine levels of screening
upon arrival to UST-LTC:
Identity Verification
Prepare your NOA for easy
verification.

Bag Inspection
Please bring only the essentials to
minimize lead time and bottlenecks for
this station.

Tech Inspection
Please remember to remove and
cover all external decorations
and markings on your laptop.

Body Frisking
As a final step before entering the LTC,
all examinees will undergo body frisking
to check for prohibited items.

Time Schedule for the Bar Examination Days


5:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. Ingress of Examinees
Submit your accomplished Honor Code, Health Liability Waiver, and Other Undertakings for the 2023 Bar Examinees to the Head
Proctor. You are also required to submit your NOA to the Head Proctor upon arrival to your testing room on each Bar Day.

7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. First Bell


All examinees must have already placed their bags at the designated area, and seated in their testing rooms by 7:30 am.
Going out of the testing room during this period is strictly prohibited.

8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Morning Examinations


The examination shall begin once the second bell rings at 8:00 a.m. and your Proctor posts the password on the board.
Examinees need not wait for Proctors to instruct them to start the examination.

12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. Lunch Break


After successfully uploading your completed examination, please leave your laptop on your desk and proceed to the
designated meal areas. During lunch break, you may review hard copies of law-related reference materials. After lunch, the
examinees can return to the testing room at the earliest time of 12:45 pm.

1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. First Bell


All examinees must have already placed their bags at the designated area, and seated in their testing rooms by 1:30 pm.
Going out of the testing room during this period is strictly prohibited.

2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Afternoon Examinations


The examination shall begin once the second bell rings at 2:00 p.m. and your Proctor posts the password on the board.
Examinees need not wait for Proctors to instruct them to start the examination.

6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Egress


Please collect your NOA and belongings before exiting your LTC. Check if a certification at the back of your NOA has
been accomplished by your Proctor. However, that at the end of the last examination, the NOA shall be retained by the
Proctor.
