Md Tanvir Hossain (ID-058093) was employed at our organization“Sonargaon Steel fabricate Ltd”
since 01st October 2020 to 5th March-2023 as a HSE Assistant Manager in Health, Safety & Environment &
Social Department for a period of approximately 2 years five months. During the period during this period, his
duties and responsibilities included:
1. Manage the Health Safety and Environment aspect on the SSFL-MGI
2. Drive awareness & accountability for Environment, Health & Safety Performance through all level of
organization.
3. Assessing work area and endorsing permit should he deemed it safe
4. Led his project team & factory on management walkabout and MIEZ Project premises frequently
5. Furnishing management walkabout reports, inspection reports, sub-committee meeting minutes assist in
Planning ,Developing tracking Safety Programs & taskforce report (Crane, Work at Height), HSE alert
and memos
6. Investigating accident, incident, near misses and dangerous occurrence to identify the root cause and
establish remedial actions
7. Imposing stop work order should the job task or environment is unsafe, remedial actions, and conduct
mass briefing to the workforce
8. Prepared method Statement and Risk assessment & Implement it Functional areas.
9. Developed emergency response plan, conduct emergency drill, respond to emergency situation and also
ensuring that the HSE and firefighting equipment are adequate and in good working condition
10. Educating, coaching and enforcing WSH aspects to the workforce
He was not only a diligent, competent employee, who satisfactorily performed his tasks in a timely manner, but
also a very friendly and compassionate co-worker. His dedication, hard-work and sincerity have enabled him to
be a quick-learner on the job. He has been more than willing to take on additional responsibility when the call of
duty so warranted. I believe would be a capable employee in any organization. We wish Him all the best in his
future.
