South and North Korea

We are going to describe two countries in East Asia, namely South Korea and North Korea. We
have compared the two countries in terms of their size, population, form of government, and
economic system.
Firstly, concerning the size, South Korea is smaller than North Korea. South Korea has 99,720 sq
km, while North Korea has 120,538 sq km. In the ranking of largest countries in the world, South
Korea occupies the 107th while North Korea is the 97th.
Secondly, in terms of population, South Korea is more densely populated with 51,624,000
population. On the other side North Korea has only 26,069,000 population.
Thirdly, another aspect we’ve compared is the term of the country or government. South Korea
runs a presidential system of government, where the president is elected by the people through a
general election. On the other hand, North Korea implemented a communist one-party system
where the leader decided by the formerly lineage.
Finally, the religion aspect. In terms of religion, South Korea gives more freedom to its people to
embrace religions according to their believes. However, peoples in North Korea do not have freedom
to embrace religion. It can be seen from the closure of places of worship places
