The IT PTO Newsletter is distributed each week. We occasionally make mistakes or
receive information after the newsletter goes out, so please check the home page of

Northwood Day of Giving

Each year, the PTOs of NSSD112 support Northwood's Day Of Giving by collecting
hygiene or food products to donate.

This year Indian Trail will be collecting toothbrushes and toothpaste! We have pledged
200 of each, which is a pretty hefty goal, but together we can do it! Please drop you
donations of new, packaged toothbrushes and new, sealed toothpaste off to the
collection bin in the front vestibule from November 13th - December 1st.

No time to shop and drop? No worries, you can still contribute. Click HERE to make a
monetary donation and we will do the shopping for you!

How to Raise Successful Kids

Don't miss this opportunity to hear from an incredible author on November 30th in the
Deerfield High School auditorium.
 Volunteer Opportunities
GREENHOUSE GARDEN VOLUNTEERS: October is the time where our greenhouse
and outdoor garden needs some extra TLC. The cool weather weeds have sprouted, the
beds need to be prepped for the winter, and the greenhouse beds need to be maintained
for the students.

GREENHOUSE CLASS VOLUNTEERS: Due to the longer walk from Elm Place to the
Indian Trail greenhouse, parent volunteers are requested to help walk the classes across
the street during greenhouse enrichment. Morning shifts are from 9:00-11:30 and
afternoon shifts are from 1:00-3:00.
