CONVOCATORY LETTER

Beloved partners in the Ministry,

Greetings of peace in the name of Jesus, the Christ!

This is to inform you that we will be having a Luzon-wide Clergy Convocation which will be held on
November 6-9, 2023, hosted by the Diocese of Laguna in La Vista, Pansol, Calamba, Laguna.
Bannering the theme of this year's convocation “Witnessing faithfully to God’s love in Christ in every
place and time in the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1: 18) with the sub-theme: God’s chosen Witness,
God’s chosen Servant (Isa 43:10).

In relation to this, may we all be guided by the Holy Spirit to summon all Bishops, Priests, Deacons,
and Ordinands/Graduate Seminarians serving in the region to positively respond to this call.

All Clergy and ordinands are expected to prepare an amount of Php 8,600.00 (excluding
transportation allowances) to cover all the expenses during, to, and from the venue back to our
parishes.
We will be having a series of lectures, workshops, and sharing from the program department of our
national church to update us regarding national programs, and to bring to our attention the different
institutional concerns for discussions. We are all, therefore, expected to motivate and encourage each
other to actively participate in every session as we seek to grow in our knowledge and skills through
this convocation. Likewise, in this clergy convocation, we will explore how we can best serve the
faithful believers and fulfill our corporate ministry as ordained ministers of our beloved church, the
Iglesia Filipina Independiente.
