Marketing Through Social Media

The high number of social media users is a very potential market. In addition to its unlimited reach,
marketing through social media is also very cost-effective, easy to do, and reaches many layers of
consumers. In addition to increasing turnover, product brands are more quickly recognized.

5. Marketing Through Content

In the digital world, content is very valuable and this can be used as a marketing strategy. Marketing
is not done by offering products directly, but by creating and distributing content that is informative,
valuable, and needed by consumers.

Marketing concept
In order for marketing to be carried out appropriately and to achieve its objectives, the marketing
team or business person must first know a few basic concepts of marketing. The concept of
marketing includes the following.

1. Consumer Needs and Desires

Need is the absence of a sense of being fulfilled which if not fulfilled will have fatal
consequences. Needs cannot be created, but rather a biological nature and the condition of
consumers themselves. Meanwhile, desire is something that if not fulfilled does not cause problems.

2. Products
In the context of marketing, products are offers that can be in the form of goods, services, or ideas
produced by producers and offered to consumers to meet their needs.

3. Value, Cost, and Customer Satisfaction

Consumer needs cannot be generalized and each product has different levels of
fulfillment. Consumer assessment of a product is an important consideration for producers
(marketing team) in creating a product.

4. Exchange and Transactions

In marketing activities, there is agreement between producers and consumers in exchanging, both
between products with money and products with other products.

5. Relationships and Network Marketing

The relationship in the marketing concept is a transaction to meet the needs of consumers while
maintaining business in the long run. Companies also need to develop marketing networks between
producers and consumers, employees, suppliers and others.
6. Market
What is meant by the market are buyers or consumers who have needs and are able to carry out
exchange of values so that transactions occur. Market size depends on the number of consumers
and the resources exchanged for consumer needs.

7. Marketers and Prospective Buyers

Marketers will identify and search for potential buyers who want to meet their needs so they are
willing to make transactions.

Increasingly fierce business competition requires business people to continue to do creative

marketing innovations. One way is to adapt marketing to be in line with consumer trends so that the
products offered are able to win the competition.
