Research on the following:

1. Lift Slab
2. Span Stress Floor system

1. Lift Slab: Lift slab construction is a method used in building construction where precast concrete slabs
are lifted from the ground to their final position in a structure. This technique involves casting the
concrete slabs on the ground, allowing them to cure, and then lifting them into place using hydraulic
jacks. Lift slab construction can expedite the building process and reduce the need for extensive
formwork, making it a cost-effective and efficient construction method.

2. Span Stress Floor System: The span stress floor system refers to a structural flooring system designed
to distribute loads and stresses over a wide span without the need for intermediate supports. This is
often achieved through the use of long-span structural elements such as beams and girders. By
minimizing the need for columns or walls in the interior of a space, the span stress floor system
provides greater flexibility in interior design and space utilization, making it particularly useful in large
open areas such as auditoriums or exhibition halls.
