C levels executives are some of the topmost officials in any organization. They are some of the most key
decision makers in the organization and are responsible for the substantial changes which occur
throughout the organization. C Level executives are crucial and essential to modern business. They are
the people who need to provide leadership in important decision-making scenarios. When it comes to
company strategies, C level Executives play a pivotal role in the formulation. Even the High Stake
decisions and functioning of smooth operations are done by C level executives to achieve strategic
business objectives.

Usually, every company will have one or two C level positions. The primary such position in any company
is CEO, or Chief Executive Officer. A Chief Executive Officer (CEO) usually oversees all the operations that
are performed in a company and have a decisive approach towards important company decisions. A
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) doesn’t get involved in daily operations; rather they are more inclined
towards the expansion and growth of the company. Another crucial C level position is the Chief Financial
officer (CFO). A Chief Financial officer (CFO) monitors the finances of the company and oversees all the
transactions and payments. It’s the Duty of a Chief Financial officer (CFO) to ensure the implementation
of the Financial Regulations. The third and important C level position is of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Chief Operating Officer (COO) functions as the second in command to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and
thus oversees the everyday functions. Chief Operating Officer (COO) in his own rights acts as a Chief
Executive Officer (CEO) and takes the major decisions on a daily basis. Apart from this the marketing
strategies are handled by Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and are solely responsible for managing the
public relations.

Some of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) responsibilities are as follows:

 Provide Leadership Company-wide


 Take crucial about policy and strategy.
 Keep the Board of Directors informed and keep reporting them on time
 Developing and implementing operational policies and a strategic plan
 Function as the primary spokesperson for the company.
 Development of the company’s culture and vision

Some of the Chief Financial officer (CFO) responsibilities are as follows:

 Directing and monitoring the company’s financial planning


 Analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments through risk management
 Finalize investment strategies through considering cash and liquidity risks
 Evaluation of the organization’s fundraising and capital structure
 Managing cash flow for the organization’s operations

Some of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) responsibilities are as follows:

 Designing and implementation of business strategies, plans, and procedures


 Performance and growth measurement through fixed standards
 Monitoring the daily operations of the company
 Encourage maximum performance and dedication by setting examples for employees
 Analysis and interpretation of data and metrics to evaluate the performing assets

Some of the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) responsibilities are as follows:

 Analyze the trends of the market and channelize the market research efforts of the company
 Collaborate with other departments to guide a unified approach
 Finalize marketing strategies to improve the company’s overall strategies and objectives
 Developing a probable and beneficial marketing plan for the department
 Designing and coordinating promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts
