Mystery man
Did you hear the story about a mystery man who woke up on a beach in Australia? Two
teenagers were jogging along the beach early one morning when, all of a sudden, they saw a
man lying in the sand. This is not unusual, but the man was unconscious and wearing a suit,
shirt and tie. The teenagers called the police right away. While they were waiting for them to
arrive, the teenagers tried to wake the guy up. It was impossible, but he was still breathing!
Finally, the police arrived with two paramedics. As soon as they revived the man, he started
talking in a strange language. He was confused and didn't know where he was, and he didn't
seem to understand anything. They took him to the hospital immediately. He wasn't hurt, but
he was very distressed.
The police couldn't find any ID on the man, so there were no clues there. They were trying to
understand what he was saying when someone in the hospital said that he was speaking
Russian. How did a Russian man land on a beach in Australia? Two weeks later, the police are
still trying to answer this question. A Russian interpreter says that the mystery beach man
still doesn't know who he is, where he's from, or what his name is!
