How To mod SLR:R

First i wanna start off by saying Welcome to

GOM and the world of SLR:R, one thing to know this is a unfinished game it will error and crash for no reason at all, get use to it cause it happens to everyone.

Now on to the tutorial.

To start off You will need to get the game

The Game Download

Now you need to decide which version is better for you, Most people will say the best is MWM + LE2MWM addon, but its up to you.
2.2.1 MWM -> Download
2.3.0 LE -> Download
To install 2.3.0LE you might have to change the Install patch and make sure too add "/" at the end of it

This is LE2MWM -> Download This addon helps to make 2.3.0 LE mods run on 2.2.1 MWM, That means you need to have 2.2.1 MWM installed before adding this.

Now you can start downloading mods from The SLR:R Download Area a lot of them will work with no error, a lot of other have errors, but u have to download them to find out, cause
what works for one person might not for another.

If you like just base 2.2.1 MWM over MWM + LE2MWM you will need to learn how to convert cars the old fashion way. Tutorial Area

If you like LE use this -> Download to convert any mod to 2.3.0 LE

Before you go to the forums and ask why Tracks don't work on 2.3.0LE that's be cause there only for 2.2.1 MWM and 2.2.1 MWM + LE2MWM

For any version:

/Cars/Racers - Cars go here
/Parts/Engines - Engines go here
/Parts - All other parts go here

P.S Always start a new career when adding mods !

To move wheels, add engines to any car Use this -> Download

If you Don't understand this Your an Noob - Don't that That seriously lol.

You can but you must use steam based mod.
Additionally, 2.3.1 is less friendly to modder

Make sure to put in the folder AND RPK in cars/racers. then check the Vehicles tab in the catalog. If it still isn't there try another car mod.

I have one problem. The engine I downloaded didn't come with a data folder.

every time i put an engine in, its says that it doesnt work and then it comes up with that send or dont sendd page, and then it closes down?
