The document provides recommendations for film production and distribution company websites to reference, noting specific websites like A24, Fandango, Lucky Red, and Vision Distribution as having desirable qualities. It suggests that an ideal website would prominently feature movie posters in a scrolling format on the homepage for good loading times, and include areas for press, movies, trailers, festivals, and a private press login. The site should utilize the company's branding colors, showcase the logo, and maintain an elegant, intriguing tone without being too overt.

Best film production/distribution companies websites to look at
- A24 (great indie vibes, shop and has a tone style)
https://a24films.com/
- Fandango is mostly great, something like this would be
perfect https://www.fandango.it/
- Lucky Red is ok, but our site should have vertical scrolling to showcase movie posters and social integration at least; I like the elegant vibes in the image area a lot https://www.luckyred.it/
- Medusa is not great but makes a good use of thematic color;
also the film slider is nice http://www.medusa.it/
- Rai Cinema is very easy to navigate! http://www.rai.it/raicinema
- Universal Pictures is great as an example for the logo in the
header area and social integration; the rest is not very interesting and using whole trailers in the player slows it down https://www.universalpictures.it/
- Vision Distribution (awesome) https://www.visiondistribution.it/
Analysis: it is important to us to have our pictures showcased in
the homepage, may be via a working slider, and to have a vertical development scrolling down that works good and also makes it for good loading times. There is need for a press area that needs a signup/login page and a main menu that will connect to the movies, the spots, the festival and the private press area that can be modified to maybe add a future tv series page. It shoul make use of our thematic color, showcase our logo in the header area alongside the menu and seem smart, elegant and intrigue visitors without seeming “too apparent” or “aggressive” in tone and style.
In my opinion, Indigo Film could be a negative example
https://indigofilm.it/ along with L’AltroFilm https://www.altrofilm.it/
