2. Safety instructions
2.1 These pressure control panel are made to the demands of the existing standards and regulations.
2.2 Changes or modifications to the pressure control panel are prohibited without the prior consent of the manufacturer.
2.3 Pressure control panel are to be handled by trained personnel.
2.4 Improper handling and use can evolve risks for the user and other persons as well as damage to the device.
2.5 All parts in contact with oxygen must be kept free of oil and grease!
2.6 The valve has always to be opened slowly!
2.7 Pressure control panel should only be used with gases indicated in the labeling.
2.8 The pressure control panel must not be exposed to ambient temperatures below -30°C and above +74°C
3. Applications
3.1 Usages
VIGOUR VSP Series Pressure control panels described are intended for use with non-corrosive gases up to a
purity grade of 6.0.The permissible gases and pressure ranges are specified on the type plate.
Pressure control panels reduce a variable inlet pressure to an outlet pressure that is as constant as possible.

VSP-1/1E control panel are Single bank of gas supply design with a regulator complete purging features, it ensure
process gas purity are maintained during changing of gas cylinders.
VSP-2/2E control panel are Dual bank of gas supply design with a regulator complete purging features, it ensure process
gas purity are maintained during changing of gas cylinders.
VSP-3A/3AE/5A/6A/8AE Series Automatic Changeover Control panel are design with two pressure regulators which are
connected on the both outlet pressure side and are set to different outlet pressures. The changeover occurred
automatically by pressure differential.
First, the regulator with the higher outlet pressure (= working pressure) delivers the process gas. When the cylinder
pressure drops below the outlet pressure set on the other side (changeover pressure), this cylinder takes over the supply
of the process gas without interrupting the continuity of supply. Before changing a cylinder, the position of the handle
must be reversed in order to give priority to the cylinder which is now delivering the process gas (outlet pressure
increase).

5. Installation
5.2 Slide the mounting plate into the upper slot of the
basic frame. Insert it in the basic frame and lowered it
into the bottom slot..
Now it is held in position.
4
5.7.1 Push the tubes as far as it will go into the compression ring fitting.
5.7.2 Tighten union nut by hand
5.7.3 Tighten union nut with a wrench by ¼ turns while applying a counter grip with a second wrench.
Note: ¼ turns when the compression rings a pre-assembled on the pipe. ¼ turns when they are not
preassembled.
5.8 When using corrosive, toxic, self-igniting or flammable gases, ensure that the purge gas is charged
safety. The waste gas line must be connected to the waste gas valve and to the relief valve of the regulator
6.Start-up
6.1 Before 1st usages, the complete pressure control panel must be purged . If corrosive gas is to be used
as the process gas, dry inert gas must be used for purging.
6.2 Close all valves and unscrew the adjusting knob of the regulators
6.3 Gradually open the cylinder valve.
6.4 Gradually open the process gas valve.
6.5 Set the regulator to the required outlet pressure with the adjusting knob, observe and make sure no
unusual vibration in the regulator.
6.6 Check the complete control panel and all threaded connections for leaks.
7. Shut-down
7.1 During short work break / interruption, shut off the gas supply from the pressure regulator.
7.2 Work finished, shut off regulator and also gas cylinder valve.
7.3 When removing pressure regulator from gas cylinder, always check pressure gauges indicate zero.
8. Changing cylinder
*IMPORTANT:
When process valve needs to be closed although no flow at the downstream.
Turn the knot of the regulator anti-clockwise to release the pressure fully.

9. Repair
9.1 Repairs may only be carried out in authorized workshops by expert persons.
9.2 Only original spare parts may be used. The materials have been adapted to the gas type in each instance.
9.3 In case of unauthorized repairs or use of non-original spare parts, any form of liability for resulting damages will
expire as well as the manufacturer’s warranty.
9.4 After being repaired, the pressure regulator must be checked with respect to proper function, leak-tightness and
cleanliness of the gas-wetted surfaces.

3. Inbetriebnahme
anbringen. Alle Verbindungen auf Dichtheit prüfen.
Druckregler entspannen, Gasflaschenventil langsam öffnen (Hochdruckmanometer zeigt Flaschendruck an) dann
den gewünschten Hinterdruckdruck am Einstellgriff einstellen.
Druckeinstellung bei Druckabfall möglicherweise nochmals korrigieren.
Außerbetriebnahme
3.1 Alle Ventile schließen.
3.2 Eingestellten Druckregler komplett druckentlasten; Manometer zeigen 0 bar an. Handrad des Druckreglers
herausdrehen.
4. Reparatur
Gasart abgestimmt, deshalb immer Gasart beachten.
