Statement of the Problem

This study seeks to measure the level of knowledge on E-health among Public Health

Nurses in Sulu. This also aims to answer the following:

1. What is the demographic profile of the Public Health Nurses in Sulu, in terms of:

a. Age

b. Sex

c. Area of assignment

2. What is the level of knowledge on E-health among Public Health Nurses in Sulu?

3. Is there a significant difference on the level of knowledge among Public Health Nurses in

Sulu when they are grouped according to their demographic profile?

Rationale

With the rapid advancement of technology on recent years, the health sector is forced to

be abreast to cope up with the technological trend. One of which is the incorporation of

electronic health system among developed institutions. It is undeniable that this advancement has

been helpful and efficient in the consolidation of health data. Sadly, health reporting systems in

Sulu is quite behind in this term. This study shall measure the level of knowledge on E-health

among Public Health Nurses in Sulu, so as to be able to demand necessary actions to enhance

health reporting system in our province.
