Usage:
Course Description: This is the introductory course of Soil Reinforcement and Geosynthetics.
The contents of this course are shown in Table 1.
Course Objectives To introduce the improvement methods of engineering properties of soils.
To introduce the application of soil reinforcement techniques.
Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
1. Understand the concept of soil improvement by inclusions
2. Understand the concept of in-situ reinforcement.
3. Acquire the knowledge of backfill materials used in soil reinforcement
projects
4. Acquire the knowledge of geosynthetics used for various projects
