USE 1 Repeated Actions

Use the simple present to express the idea that an action is


repeated or usual. The action can be a habit, a hobby, a daily
event, a scheduled event or something that often happens. It
can also be something a person often forgets or usually does
not do.

We use the Present Simple for the Future in order to indicate that a future
event is scheduled.
Something is “scheduled” when it is on a timetable, written in someone’s
diary…
Some examples would be:

● Entertainment: “The film starts at 7pm”
● Scheduled plans: “I leave for Panama next week”
● Things that will happen at a particular moment in the future because that’s
when they always happen: “I start work at 8 tomorrow
