The growing introduction of electric vehicles creates a new energy demand that can
be covered by renewable energies based on sustainable strategies. Based on the
above, this paper presents a feasibility analysis for the implementation of recharging
strategies for electric vehicles and buses from a hybrid system installed at the Federal
University of Pará, considering the different energy rates, as well as the availability and
limitations of photovoltaic solar generation and storage systems. The results show the
benefits of the storage systems in terms of flexibility in conjunction with the different
charging power configurations available at the charging stations.
