Dear Friends,
I have the pleasure to send you the following information concerning the
organisation of the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming Development Course for
Technical Officials – Advanced level scheduled to be held in San Salvador, El
Salvador (ESA), from 7 to 9 April 2023.
Course description
• The World Aquatics Artistic Swimming Development Course for Technical
Officials - Advanced level is designed for those judges who require more in-
depth training of skills at an advanced level. This course is the last step of
Artistic Swimming Development level.
• The course will be delivered in English.
• At least ten (10) judges must attend for the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming
Development Course to take place. Maximum registered delegates are thirty
(30) people per course including observers.
• The candidates must fully participate in all sessions of the course and
complete all the required assessments.
Eligibility
• The World Aquatics Artistic Swimming Development Courses are open to all
the World Aquatics members interested in developing international judges that
are not on the current World Aquatics List.
• Candidates must be at least 18 and not over 65 years of age at the start of the
course.
• At least 40 hours per year of practical judging must be obtained after passing
the test at a World Aquatics Artistic Swimming Development Course –
Intermediate level prior to registering to a World Aquatics Artistic Swimming
Development Course – Advanced level.
• Participants should have an intermediate level of English.
Registration
• Each World Aquatics member may nominate Artistic Swimming judges and
coaches for this course. All participants must be registered by 15 March 2023
in the GMS using your World Aquatics member login details.
• Please kindly note that the specific discipline of the school must be added to
the attendee’s GMS profile in order to submit the registration. In addition, the
profile must include the following information: personal data, photo,
passport/National ID copy and the candidate’s personal email address. Any
application without all the above-mentioned information will be rejected.

• Please take into consideration that when a Technical official represents
his/her country in a competition, he/she shall be a citizen, whether by birth or
naturalisation, of the nation he/she represents, provided that a naturalised
citizen shall have lived in that country for at least one year prior to that
competition.
Approvals
• World Aquatics will start to approve the registrations once the required number
of participants has been reached (10). The approvals will be done on a first
come first served basis and according to the priority for attendance
established on the 2018-2021 AS Certification Pathway.

LOCAL TRANSPORT: Transfers from and to the airport will be provided by the OC
for those participants accommodated at the official hotel.
