Deshmukh Bai is seated with Surya. Max is seated with *

Shardul. *

Deshmukh Bai is studying the fresh offer from Max. Shardul *

and Surya are talking on behalf of each other’s boss, trying *
to compromise, while Max and Deshmukh Bai stare at each *
other. *

SURYA *
Villa ka area badda-ke milna
chahiye, ek hi de raha hai toh.

SHARDUL *
Villa ka size nahin badd sakta

(Shardul looks at Max, who
agrees)

Surya looks at Deshmukh Bai in anticipation. *

Surya looks helpless while Max keeps staring at Deshmukh Bai. *

Just then Shardul gets a call. *

(on phone) *
Hello!.... Haan... ek minute haan! *
(to Max) ) *
Thoda urgent hai, please! *

Shardul hurriedly leaves the room. *

Deshmukh Bai keeps looking into Max's eyes. *

He has no option but to take control of the meeting. *

MAX *
Mai seedha baat kare-ga. Gol-gol
ghoome-ga nahin, aur ghoomaayega
bhi nahi.

Deshmukh Bai is now intrigued. *

MAX (CONT'D) *
Colony mein sab-ko maloom pad raha *

Siren blares as a police jeep barges into Deshmukh’s Scrap *
yard. *
Cops pick up Surya and a few of his boys. Surya is confused. *

(to cops) *
Aee maaka kityak dharta? Kitein *
jaale te saangaat tari! (Hey, why *
are you apprehending me? At least *
tell me what happened!) *
SUB-INSPECTOR NARVEKAR *
Assault ka charge hai Surya! *
SURYA *
(nonchalant) *
Arre par kispe? Har hafte 2-4 logon *
ko toh main bukalta hee hai. Kaun *
fodricha (pussyman) hai jo pulis *
mein gaya? *
Meanwhile, cops take the covers off a Red Thar parked in the *
same garage. *

Wohi number hai sir! *
Now Surya realizes it’s something else. *
SURYA *

Surya and a couple of his men are shoved into the police *
jeep. Everyone at the scrap yard witnesses as the police jeep *
drives away. Deshmukh Bai keeps looking. *

Pedru drives down a long stretch of a desolated road in the *
outskirts. Pedru is behind the wheel and Max is in the *
passenger seat and Shardul is in the backseat. Shardul is *
looking out nonchalantly, as he expected the outcome. *
MAX *
Aur kiya hoga Ashu ne help pulis *
ko. Toh? Jail mein karna pada hoga *
use. *
PEDRU *
Aur baahar aane ke baad? Abhi bhi *
woh police officer Leena se *
regularly milta hai. Abhi kai ke *
liye? *
MAX *
Millta hoga yaar. Tum dono Ashu ke *
peechhe kyun padde ho? *
PEDRU *
(exasperated) *
Hum nahin, Max, woh humaare peechhe *
padda hai. Revenge ke liye. Badla *
le raha hai woh. *

Pedru is tired, he looks in the rear view mirror at Shardul *

looking out the window. *

Max loses it. *

MAX *
(pissed) *

Max turns behind to hit Shardul. *

MAX (CONT'D) *
Abh dekh tu vipreet budhi... *

Shardul, furious, puts Max in a headlock from the back seat, *

and a fight ensues in the car. *

SHARDUL *
(loses it) *
Aee Randecho! (Son of a bitch!) *

Max tries to escape but Shardul tightens his grip. Max swings *
his hand, trying to scrape Shardul’s face. Pedru tries to *
intervene. *

PEDRU *
Tum log pagal hai kya? Shardul *
chhod usko! Shardul chhod! Max! *
 Blue Rev. (mm/dd/yy) 8.

Pedru tries to get Shardul’s grip off of Max but Max’s hand *
which had swung for Shardul hits Pedru instead. Pedru loses *
control of the steering, the car swivels, and drives off the *
road into a ditch. Pedru screams. *
