Nisha and Pragya are like two college girls letting their *
hair down in a plush mid-town joint with groovy music *
playing. They take selfies; while dancing, with shots, with *
middle fingers, with Pragya’s new visiting card saying *
“Associate Partner”. *

They raise a toast. Pragya gulps it down in one go. *

PRAGYA *
Come on Nisha come on! *

NISHA *
Nahin! Nahin hoga! *

Pragya forces Nisha to gulp it down. Nisha protests but has *

no choice. Pragya screams in joy. Nisha recovers from the *
buzz and looks around fondly. *

NISHA (CONT'D) *
I miss this yaar! Work hard, play *
harder! Lekin career & family, *
shayad donon manage karna possible *
nahin hai. *

Before Pragya can say anything, the server brings them a *

couple of drinks. *

SERVER *
Excuse me ma’m! Those 2 gentlemen *
at the bar have sent these drinks *
for you. *

Pragya looks at the two men at the bar. *

PRAGYA *
(looking at the two men) *
Nisha! Aaj ki raat kuch bhi *
possible hai. *

And she signals those 2 men to join them. Nisha smiles and *
shakes her head. The 2 men join them at their table. *

(to Pragya) *

(to Nisha) *

NISHA *
(flaunts her wedding ring) *

The man gets awkward and backs off. As Pragya speaks with *
Rishi and the other guy, Nisha looks down at the drink on her *
table and spots Pragya’s visiting card lying there. She *
stares at it, contemplating. *

His phone rings, and it’s Nisha calling. *

Nisha is unable to hear him because of the loud music. *

disbelief and returns to the bartender. *

NISHA *
Hi Ashu. *

Ashu is happy to find Nisha at the other end. *

ASHU *

5.21 INTERCUT. ASHU’S HOME/PRAGYA’S MUMBAI APARTMENT - LATE NIGHT
