A: I believe Leo should bring his sunglasses and cap. What's your opinion?

B: Yes, you're correct. I also feel he should bring a rucksack. Do you share the same view?

A: Absolutely. Rucksacks are highly practical for travel. I also believe he'll need his flip-flops and flippers.

B: I disagree. I don't think he'll need his flip-flops and flippers as he'll likely spend his time sightseeing.
What's your perspective?

A: I think you're mistaken. Portugal is very hot, and I believe he might go to the beach. What about the
binoculars?

B: I don't think he'll need the binoculars. He probably won't have time for birdwatching.

A: I completely agree with your last statement.

Ex 11

I think I am a positive person and almost every day of my life is happy. However, there is one day that I
will never forget because it was really the best one. It happened around a year and a half ago, but I
remember it as if it was yesterday.
One evening when I was drinking tea and talking to my mother I got a notification that Imagine Dragons,
which had been my favourite music band for 5 years at that moment, were arriving to Kyiv to perform
there for the first time in their music career. I nearly spilled my tea and was like: “Mom, I need to get to
this show! I’ve been waiting for it my entire life!” I was lucky I had enough money to buy a ticket and six
months later I was on a train heading to Kyiv. I stayed in my aunt’s flat. It made me glad too, because I
hadn’t seen her for 4 years. Next day was the day of the concert. I woke up at 4 am, because I had
bought a ticket to fanzone, which meant if I wanted to get close to the stage, I had to come to the
stadium as early as possible and queue all the day, but that wasn’t a problem for me. When I came there
were already a lot of people. I took my spot in the line and started talking to them. They were so kind
and happy, the atmosphere there was unbelievable, everybody was smiling, joking, singing Imagine
Dragons’ songs. I made a lot of friends there. The most wonderful part of the day was obviously the
concert itself. It was above all expectations. I was overwhelmed with happiness and joy, because my
dream finally came true!

The first quote by e.e. cummings suggests that the process of maturing and discovering one's true self
requires courage. Growing into one's authentic identity involves facing challenges and uncertainties, and
it takes bravery to navigate this journey of self-discovery.

The second quote, attributed to H.D. Thoreau, conveys the idea that by living in alignment with one's
beliefs and values, an individual has the power to influence and positively impact the world. The
message is about the transformative potential of personal convictions, indicating that one's actions
guided by strong beliefs can contribute to positive change on a broader scale.
