As an integral part of Universitas Haluoleho, the Faculty of Agriculture plays a

crucial role as an institution dedicated to educating and training the intelligent
generations through education, research, and community service.

The vision of the Faculty of Agriculture is to become a faculty that produces

outstanding human resources and agricultural science and technology on an
international scale, based on rural, coastal, and small island areas.

The Faculty of Agriculture consistently implements an internal quality assurance

system based on the PDCA model, which includes planning, implementation,
evaluation, control, and a continuous improvement,

The Faculty of Agriculture always ensures the achievement of high-quality education

through both national and international accreditation.

The Faculty of Agriculture has 27 full professors, 34 associate professors, and 54

assistant professors.

Currently, the Faculty of Agriculture consists of six departments accredited by the

National Accreditation Agency (Ban PT): Agribusiness, AgroTechnology, Food
Science and Technology, Soil Science, Plant Protection, and Agricultural Extension.
The faculty also has 10 laboratories to support educational and research activities by
both faculty and students.

In addition, there are other supporting facilities such as a mosque, gardens, lecture
buildings, library building, bicycle parking, motorcycle parking, car parking,
disability-friendly facilities, fire extinguishers, and first aid kit.

Every year, the Faculty of Agriculture admits an average of 500 new students and
graduates around 400 alumni, who then venture into various professional fields.

Each year, the Faculty of Agriculture establishes collaborations with various

stakeholders, at both the national and international levels, especially those in the
Southeast Sulawesi region, such as PNM and PT CAM. These collaborations include
visiting professors, research collaborations, and international conferences.

The Faculty of Agriculture always encourages its academic community to achieve

excellence in both academic and non-academic fields.

Achievements of faculty members include receiving intellectual property rights and

published in internationally accredited journals, while students achieve outstanding
results at both local and national levels.
 With a spirit of innovation, collaboration, and achievement, the Faculty of
Agriculture at Universitas Halu Oleo is committed to making its best contribution to
national development, especially in the field of agriculture, rural development, and
small island areas, to achieve self-sufficiency in food production for Indonesia.
