CALL OUT Ladies and gentlemen.

Please take your seat since we are going to begin our Public Speaking
Competition.

At this time, we request that all  mobile phones, be turned off or

silent during the competition, as these items might distract our
contestant.

We also remind you that toilet is at this level of this building.

WELCOME Honorable technical officer, judges, ladies and gentlemen

ADDRESS
A very good morning to everyone and welcome to SMK Seri Hartamas.
We would like to welcome all of you to the Jejak Juara KL, Public
Speaking Competition 2022.

So please sit down, relax and enjoy the rest of the morning.  I am
______ and I am______. We had been given the task by our dear
teacher to be your emcee for this morning. We thank you all for
gracing this occasion.

We are delighted to welcome every participant to our school, and

extend the warmest welcome to those who have travelled from
distance. I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your
presence at this memorable occasion. It is indeed a pleasure to have
you all today.

First, let me introduce to all of you the judges for today’s

competition.

The first judge EN UMAR ZAKIR BIN ABDULLAH as our chief judge.

The second judge CIK NUR HANNA FATIHAH BINTI MAHMUD

The third judge is EN CHUAN TEIK MIN

The fourth judge is EN MOHAMED ZULFADZLI BIN AMRAN

RULES AND
The competition is divided into two sections, as follows;
REGULATIO
NS Section 1 : Prepared Speech (34 schools participated)
Section 2 : Impromptu Speech (8 schools selected)

For Section 2 (Impromptu Speech), contestants are to observe the

following rules:
 Each contestant will get their turn to present their impromptu
speech.
 Contestants are given a topic 4 minutes before they are due to
present the speech.
 All contestants speak on the same topic.
 The time allocated for the impromptu speech is 3 minutes.
 A warning bell will be sounded at the 2nd minute and a final
bell at the 3rd minute. Marks will be deducted thereafter.
 The timekeeper will announce the time taken by each
contestant after the presentation.
