II. COURSE DESCRIPTION

This is a 3 -unit course that provides the fundamental theories and concepts underlying administrative practices in organizations. Through a combination of
theoretical frameworks, case studies, and practical examples, students will gain insights into the principles guiding effective administration, decision-making, and
organizational structure. Key topics include bureaucracy, organizational behavior, leadership, communication, and the role of administrative systems in achieving
organizational goals.

III. COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES & MAP

Upon completion of the course, the participants will be able to analyze and evaluate different administrative theories and their applications in various organizational
contexts. It will provide a comprehensive understanding of administrative theory while emphasizing practical application, critical thinking, and the development of
essential skills for future administrative roles. This course aims to place a strong emphasis on fostering a holistic understanding of the subject matter by integrating
theoretical concepts with real-world applications. We recognize the importance of not only grasping academic theories but also immersing participants in practical
scenarios to enhance their learning experience. Rather than relying solely on theoretical discussions, the approach actively involves participants in the learning process
through engaging activities and hands-on experiences. This is achieved through two key components: active class participation and the sharing of practical experiences
from participants’ professional work. By blending theoretical knowledge with practical experiences, it will facilitate meaningful and comprehensive discussions. These
discussions are not confined to abstract theories but are enriched by the application of concepts in real-life scenarios.

In essence, the course strives to bridge the gap between theory and practice, creating an educational environment where participants not only learn about the subject matter
but also develop the skills and insights needed to excel in their professional endeavors.
