Outline: harmful effects of eating junk food

1. Introduction
Nowadays, junk food has gone global. Junk food is available everywhere we go. Junk
foods are food and drinks with low nutritional value (e.g. vitamins, minerals, and fiber)
and high in kilojoules, fat, sugars, and salt. Junk food doesn’t play any role in healthy
eating, especially if it's eaten to excess. It’s also known as discretionary food or optional

Junk foods include foods like burgers, fried chicken, and pizza from fast-food
restaurants, as well as packaged foods like chips, biscuits, and ice cream, sugar-
sweetened beverages like soda, fatty meats like bacon, and sugary cereals.
With our busy lives, we often prefer eating junk food. However, doctors across the
world have made it clear that half of the health issues in humans are the consequence
of unhealthy eating habits. We can’t brief all the harmful effects of junk food on health
in just 15’, but we have tried to cumulate some harmful effects of eating junk food for

In conclusion, we know that junk foods are bad for our health but they are tasty,
affordable, and convenient. This makes it hard to limit the amount of junk food we eat.
It’s important to remember that there is no greater asset than our health. If junk foods
become a staple of our diets, there can be negative impacts on our health. If we wish to
