7. Announcement of Final Admission Decision

A. Announcement of final admission decision

- Time: 5 p.m., July 28. 2023 (to be announced).
- Place: PNU admission homepage (http://go.pusan.ac.kr)
- Other : The admitted student must print out the acceptance letter, read the notice for admitted
students from the homepage, and comply with all PNU requirements to avoid admission cancellation.
B. Registration
- Admitted students should pay tuition fees by the due date unless their admission will be cancelled.

9. Important Notes
A. Applicants who were not interviewed or who do not have a supervisor at PNU will not be admitted.
B. Submitted documents will not be returned. The applicant’s department and major cannot be changed.
C. Applicants will be held responsible for failure to submit required documents, errors or
omissions in documents, failure to fulfill requirements indicated in the deadlines, listing of
false addresses, missed deadlines, failure to check the list of successful candidates, and
failure to execute procedures necessary to enter the country may be subject to penalties,
such as cancellation of admission.
D. If the applicant gains admission illegally, such as through forgery or alteration of documents
or translation errors of documents, and such fact is found while at school or after
graduation, admission will be cancelled and/or all academic records will be erased even if
the applicant already has graduated.
E. Certificate of Admission and Certificate of scholarship will be sent to the address that the
applicant filled in on the application form via express mail.
F. Admitted student should take the Certificate of Admission letter from the admissions team
of PNU International for issuing their student visa(D-2), then apply for the visa at the
Embassy of Republic of Korea in home country.
I. Admitted student has to check the ‘Notice of admitted applicant.’ Please follow the directions
for visa issuance, dormitory residency, medical insurance, airport pickup, courses registration
and so on. The ‘Guidelines for International Students’ will be available on the website of
PNU Admissions (http://go.pusan.ac.kr) or PNU International(http://international.pusan.ac.kr)

- Entrance Scholarship : 50% tuition(II) waiver for 1st semester
※ ONLY Holder who has TOPIK Level 4 or English Proficiency(iBT80, IELTS5.5, TOEIC 675 or higher)
- Academic Performance Scholarship : 50% tuition(II) waiver from 2nd Semester
※ If a GPA over 3.7(out of 4.5) or Higher (The GPA 3.7 is tentative grade)
2. PNU International Special Scholarship for Stipends
