※ If an applicant’s high school has an evaluation system different from the above scales, The transcripts
indicate the description of the school’s grading system. If not, applicant must submit the letter issued by
high school, confirming that the applicant’s academic achievement meet the requirement.
9. Important Notes
A. Applicants who were not interviewed or who do not have a supervisor at PNU will not be admitted.
B. Submitted documents will not be returned. The applicant’s department and major cannot be changed.
C. Applicants will be held responsible for failure to submit required documents, errors or
omissions in documents, failure to fulfill requirements indicated in the deadlines, listing of
false addresses, missed deadlines, failure to check the list of successful candidates, and
failure to execute procedures necessary to enter the country may be subject to penalties,
such as cancellation of admission.
D. If the applicant gains admission illegally, such as through forgery or alteration of documents
or translation errors of documents, and such fact is found while at school or after
graduation, admission will be cancelled and/or all academic records will be erased even if
the applicant already has graduated.
E. Certificate of Admission and Certificate of scholarship will be sent to the address that the
applicant filled in on the application form via express mail.
F. Admitted student should take the Certificate of Admission letter from the admissions team
of PNU International for issuing their student visa(D-2), then apply for the visa at the
Embassy of Republic of Korea in home country.
I. Admitted student has to check the ‘Notice of admitted applicant.’ Please follow the directions
for visa issuance, dormitory residency, medical insurance, airport pickup, courses registration
and so on. The ‘Guidelines for International Students’ will be available on the website of
PNU Admissions (http://go.pusan.ac.kr) or PNU International(http://international.pusan.ac.kr)
