against the insitutions and the political leaders which are likely to create and promote feelings of
enmity/ hatred/ ill will between different groups and communities. A mobile phone VIVO Y21T
is seized from him.

The accused Chinta Sudharshan is a native of Vathalur village of Pullampeta Mandal of

Annamayya District and currently residing at Rajampeta Town. Investigation revealed that, he
was a B pharmacy graduate, worked in a few pharma companies in Hyderabad and due to health
issues, he has been staying at his home in Rajampeta since last year. About 6 months back, he
came in contact with a follower of TDP and got himself into a WhatsApp group as a member.
The content would be shared in the group and the members would have to circulate it to their
acquaintances and other groups of which they are already a member. Daily the accused would
share the acrimonious and derogatory content to 120-150 people/ groups and was paid an amount
of Rs.8,000/- every month as a salary.

Further, he has created multiple e-mail ids with different names and fake Facebook Ids
and some of them impersonating female profiles. Using these mail ids and facebook profiles, he
would publish and circulate the abusive and inciteful social media content. Some of the fake
profiles used by him are:

1) Sudha Chintha
2) Sudarsan Chinta
3) Sukanya Ganta

CHITRA LAHARI to post derogatory messages against the institutions and the political leaders

and is blocked as it violated the Community Standards set by the Facebook.
Investigation is still under progress to identify the other members of the group, the
content creators and the people who are inducting innocent youth into such groups under the
garb of a Job as a Social Media Influencer. Certain leads are there and investigation is
proceeding in that direction.

One should be mindful of the recent observations made by the Hon’ble Supreme Court
wherein it asked social media users to be careful about its impact and reach and the
consequences before forwarding a message and also mentioned that individuals choosing to
engage on these platforms should be prepared to confront the potential consequences of their
actions. It is therefore expected from all persons and youth in particular to refrain from indulging
in such acts like posting abusive and derogatory content on social media groups. The
consequences would be severe with legal repercussions impacting the career and future
prospects. Severe action would also be taken against those who are luring such innocent youth to
do such activities and so, it is requested to all youth to not fall into trap of such job profiles.
