Non Verbal Communication Channel and Cue

The non-verbal communication which I chosen is facial communication, where it defined as an

exchange of emotional expression using facial expressions and gestures. Facial communication

plays a vital role in our life as a way to signal our emotions, intentions and social signals. For

instance, our emotions are delivered to convey pleasantness, agreement and sympathy. Facial

muscles are used to form diverse expressions, like…what expressions? What does these

expressions convey? How can it benefit us?

Facial communication refers to the exchange of nonverbal information and emotional expression
through the use of facial expressions and gestures. It is a fundamental component of human
communication and plays a crucial role in conveying emotions, intentions, and social signals. People
use their facial muscles to create various expressions, such as smiling, frowning, raising eyebrows,
and more, to communicate their feelings and thoughts to others. These expressions can convey a
wide range of emotions, including happiness, sadness, anger, surprise, fear, and many others, and
they can help establish rapport, convey empathy, and enhance understanding in interpersonal
interactions. Facial communication is a universal and innate aspect of human interaction and is also
important in cross-cultural communication, as many facial expressions have similar meanings across
different cultures.
