Module 1: Prayer
Instruction: In the chart below, write two to three sentences of the examples of
prayer for each of the following elements (FACTS.) Include praying for others
(intercession) in the supplication. Make it your personal prayer to God.(20 points)

F - aith in God Almighty God, maker of Heaven and Earth, and giver of life, I invite
Your Holy presence to be the centre of my heart. Grant me, O Lord,
peace and strength to reveal my steadfast faith in You. I believe in
the name of Jesus, and I entrust everything in Your hands, Lord.
A - doration I praise your name, O Lord, for all the goodness and great things You
have done in my life. No one can fathom Your love that overwhelms
my soul, Your guidance that lights my way, and Your fortress that
filled me with joy and refuge. O Lord, You are the King of kings and
the Lord of lords, my rock and my salvation.
C - onfession Merciful God, I admit that I am a sinner and that I am not perfect. I
confess my sins before You, O Lord, and I pray for forgiveness for all
of my trespasses. May You cleanse and wash my heart with Your
most precious blood, Lord.
T - hanksgiving Lord God, I give You thanks for the blessings that you have showered
on me and my family. Thank you, Lord, for the provision and strength
for every day and even for all the circumstances that I have faced. I
give You thanks with a grateful heart for the gift of life and for Your
promises that never fail.
S - upplication Your Word says, “Ask and it will be given to you.” Lord, I ask for
protection and safety for my parents, sisters, friends, church mates
and loved ones in abroad. Heavenly Father, Your hands are not too
short to reach those who are sick and in need. I pray that You will
touch them with Your healing hands and help them recover. Lastly, I
pray for myself that You will be with me throughout this life. Let your
will be done, and not our will, Lord. I bring back all the glory and
honour. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
