2 Machine exploitation
Prior to machine exploitation please make sure that it is assembled and connected to
the mains with accordance with "Installation and maintenance manual".
2.1 Power on
· Open the front door of playing station 2.
· If machine is not equipped with PDU,find the mains splitter and switch it ON. Its switch acts
as a main switch for whole roulette. Otherwise switch ON main switch on the PDU.
· Check if all playing stations turn ON. If not, open front door of each not turned on playing
station and check the switch on mains splitter (turn it On).
· Check the main switch in each playing station's power supply. Turn it ON.
NOTE:
While playing stations turn OFF immediately, machine's wheel is under uninterruptible power
supply (UPS). Most probably it will play another 1-2 games (depends on set time in
Advanced->Server->UPS) and after that machine will shut down.
NOTE: Only one RFID card's code can be stored on Playing Station's flash RAM. Other
RFID codes (additional users that can Log On) are stored on server and are sent to the
Playing Stations after they connect with server.
When the user is logged on machine by means of preprogrammed RFID, he has control over
the machine depending of his user level and set rights.
3 Machine Configuring
After the machine is assembled and powered up it has to be configured for proper
functioning. Configuration is done by means of options file on server machine and settings
set by means of certain menu access and input desired setting when the machine is up and
running.
Normally the options file is already configured by the producer prior of shipping the machine,
however there are some specific options that the customer might change before putting the
machine in operation. Those settings that are restricted by jurisdiction are already set in
options_mandatory, so even though you change these settings inside options file, they would
get overwritten.
· stop server.exe (select its window and press ESC key or stop it by clicking on X in the
window left upper corner)
· open the e:\er\server\options file in Notepad
· change the settings by typing in new values
· save the options file
· start server.exe
Example 1: Change the base accounting unit from 0.05 (5 cents) to 0.01 (1 cent)
1. In options file find: option name=accounting_denomination value=0.05
2. Replace 0.05 with 0.01
NOTE: After base accounting unit is changed the server will not start if absolute
counters are not set to 0. They can be set to 0 by Ram Clear.
NOTE: Do NOT edit options_mandatory file.
Example 2: Set the allowed player denominations to 5 cents, 20 cents, 25 cents 50 cents
and 1 EUR
In options file find: option name=enabled_multidenom
Write it as: option name=enabled_multidenom value=0.05-0.20-0.25-0.50-1.00
NOTE: Calibration data for ELO SAW Touch screens is stored in Database and is lost when
Ram Clear is done. Therefore all playing station's touch screens have to be calibrated after
Ram Clear.
NOTE: Settings have no influence if server machine is not equipped with sound
amplifier.
Setting Description

game. The progressive jackpot amount is paid from the roulette profit and/or from the side
bet. Two types of Progressive games can be set:
· Progressive game
· Jackpot game (side bet required)
Progressive RTP
RTP MAX is a part of all bets from rulette, which are paid to the player as progressive wins.
The calculation is made for the player most favorable case in which he bets on all straighup
numbers the minimum required amount to enter the progressive game.
(Reset value - Sum of side bet that goes to Casino) / Average sum of bet in one
Jackpot cycle
· Number of pockets = 37
· Average games for Lucky number = Average games for Lucky number to appear
· Minimum bet = Minimum bet on straightup to enter the progressive game
· Reset value = The amount the "Current pool value" resets to after the progressive is
won.
· Average sum of side bet in one Jackpot cycle = Side Bet for one game * Average
games for Lucky number * 37
· Average sum of bet in one Jackpot cycle = Average games for Lucky number * 37 *
37 * Minimum bet + Average sum of side bet in one Jackpot cycle
· Sum of side bet that goes to Casino = ((100 – Current pool increment (for side bet) –
Hidden increment (for side bet)) /100) * Average sum of side bet in one Jackpot cycle
Progressive game
Progressive game requires no side bet from the player. The Jackpot amount is filled only
from the roulette profit.
NOTE: Player must bet straight to the winning number minimum the set amount to have a
possibility for wining the Jackpot.
Jackpot game
Jackpot game requires the player to place a side bet in order to have a possibility for wining
the Jackpot. Jackpot game allows to fill Jackpot amount from roulette profit and from the Side
bet. The game is enabled by setting the Side bet required amount to a non zero value.
NOTE: Player must bet to the winning number the set amount to win the Jackpot. It is not
obligatory to bet straightup to the winning number. For example, betting 18 times the
requested amount to field "red" will make it possible to win the Jackpot on any red number.

be paid as Jackpot by attendant hand pay.
The following meters are increased:
"total jackpot" = SAS meter 0x02 ("total jackpot credits")
"attendant paid progressive win" = SAS meter 0x20 ("total attendant paid progressive
win")
"total canceled credits" = SAS meter 0x04 ("total cancelled credits")
SAS meter 0x22 ("total won credits")
After that the player waits for the game sequence in which bets can be placed. Bets can be
placed when the following messages are shown:
Bets can be placed by pressing on bet spots on Table or Race Track. The player can launch
the ball before the bet time ends by pressing on Start button. The player can delete all bets by
pressing on the button with icon where chips are crossed. After the bets time slider comes to
its end the bets are closed and the message No more bets appears.
After the bets are closed, the player has to wait for the wining number to be announced by the
roulette. As soon as the winning number is read by the roulette the message Winning
number is shown. After the wining number is announced the non winning bets are removed
from the roulette's table and the win from game is displayed. After a while also the winning
bets are removed and a new game starts.
When the player decides to exit the game, he presses the CASHOUT button to redraw his
money from the playing station. The money is paid by whatever possible mean. In case of
TITO (Ticket in Ticket out) system a cashout ticket is printed. In case of Cashless credit is
transferred to the players card. If TITO or Cashless payout methods are not possible then
Hand Pay is performed which means the player has to wait for the attendant, who will pay the
player in cash.

5 Machine Auditing
The games history log stores the last 8000 games played.
5.2 Meters
Log on Playing Station with RFID and press Advanced -> Accounting Meters to get access to
the accounting meters.
(total coin in – (total coin out + total jackpot)) * Accounting denomination = Win
5.3 Events
Log on Playing Station with RFID and press Advanced -> Events Log to get access to the
events history log. The last 200 000 events (all playing stations ant the server) can be
observed in this dialog. All events are stored in log files on the server PC.
The events tent to be self explanatory. So for example after bets closed we have the event
game started, when the winning number is read the event winning number and if there were
any bets there is the bets event, containing in its description the bet amount, bet win and
credit before and after bets were calculated.
5.4 Exceptions
Log on Playing Station with RFID and press Advanced -> Exceptions Log to get access to the
exceptions history log. This log is used to store some detailed information about errors that
might happen on the machine. This data can then be used by the support team.
6 Troubleshooting
6.1 Tilts
A Tilt message is shown when an error is detected on the wheel, server PC or on the playing
station. If the error is detected on the wheel or on the server PC then all playing stations go in
tilt (for example the server PC freezes then playing stations have no communication with the
server then the Error, no server comm tilt is shown). If the error is detected only on one
station (for example bill acceptor detects bill jam or station door is opened) then only the
affected playing station will show the tilt error.

Solution
· Try blowing in air.
· Lift the rotor cone and check if the ball is in
the collector.
· The rotor cone does not lift high enough.
Solution
· Try the ejection in the test mode. If the air
blower does not rotate at all :
· Check if the blower motor is burnt out
– replace it.
· Is the air blower control working? Is
the air blower powered at ejection
time? If not, replace the center
module.
· Remove all obstacles from the pipe.
Turn on the air blowing and ventilate
the system well.
· The ball could have incidentally
bounced back inside the ejection
pipe and rolled into the blower (very
rare event).
"Error, Wheel not running" Possible cause
The rotor is not rotating.
· Check the connection between the wheel
controller and the rotor motor.
· The gap between the rotor and the stator is
too small, the rotor gets stuck.
The rotor motor is faulty.
Solution
Dismantle the plastic cover of the touch screen and clean the
glass and the rubber on it.
Solution
· Level the wheel.
· The rotor must stand at 0.5 mm below the stator edge.
· Clean the wheel.
Try changing the ejection parameters in the Advanced -> All
Station Settings -> Wheels.
Solution
· Check the wheel operation.
