project management credentials: Associate in Project Management (APM), Professional in Project Management (PPM) and

The Certifications/Credentials offered by GAQM are divided into three different levels, each targeted to different roles,
designations, and audiences.

Associate in Project Management (APM)


This program is designed for the entry level and new project manager. It is designed to offer those who want to
start a career in the field of Project Management or work under Project Managers.

Professional in Project Management (PPM)™


This designation is targeted towards intermediate to experienced Project Managers, who are involved in risk and
crisis management, and who are involved in the day to day management of projects.

The PPM exam comprises of 14 core areas including knowledge management. Through gaining these essential skills,
project managers will be empowered to transfer their knowledge and skills to their subordinates.

Certified Project Director (CDP)™


This designation is designed for experienced project managers who are involved in Directing Multiple and Complex
Projects and Programs.

The program focuses on the responsibilities of a Project Director with respect to managing, budgets and scope for
multiple projects, multiple project teams, and interdependent risks, in order to deliver on time and successful projects.

The CDP program is only for those who have significant project experience and are looking ahead from the senior
project management role, to a project director role.

Prerequisite: Candidates must be familiar with principles and methodologies of Project Management and must
have passed the Professional in Project Management (PPM) or equivalent exam before participating in the CPD program.
