Regular tests - independent tasks 40%
Aims:
To raise awareness of the impact of interculturalism on the business environment. To develop
understanding of intercultural communication differences and their consideration in business
contacts.
1. For independent studies, students must independently read scientific publications on
intercultural differences and their impact on business and present them in a group.
2. The presentation should look at the main principles of intercultural communication and
its impact on business contacts.
3. The presentation should consist of 10-12 slides (up to 7 minutes).
Assessment criteria:
The assessment for the presentation takes into account whether the student understands the
importance of interculturalism and its impact on the business environment. Students' presentation
skills, which is an important factor when speaking in front of a team, are also assessed.

Internet resources on business and business communication
Scientific publications on intercultural communication

Final examination – written examination 60%

FINAL EXAMINATION
Aims: Demonstrate knowledge, skills and competences gained during the study course
Contents:
Written exam with 5 open questions and one practical case study, which covers the basic
principles of successful establishment of business contacts.

The maximum score is 20 points. At least 9 points are required to pass the exam.
