A Point of Sale and Sales Inventory System for Fast Food Restaurants
I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The proposed project is a point of sale system that inputs orders, modifies order details and sends
it to the kitchen’s receipt printer. This point of sale system will be able to input the time they have
received their check/bill. The system will also be able to create reports such as total sales for the day and
the accumulated sum of how many drinks and meals are prepared for the specified date. The report will
include the number of guests and their total bills.
SCOPE
Types Of Users:
Admin Level
● The admin will control the user accounts and will be able to create new employee profiles
with their corresponding employee codes
● Can create new products with their corresponding item codes
● Can input the total amount the guest have gave and calculate the change
● Can use the voiding module
● Can use the stock queries module
● Is the only one able to use the sales inventory module
● Can activate and deactivate the POS
