Theory of Panspermia

o Panspermia is a scientific theory that suggests life or the basic ingredients for life might exist
in different parts of the universe and can be carried from one place/planet to another
through space.
o life might exist in various parts of the universe and can be spread from one planet to
another through space dust, meteorites,
o This means that life could have started in one location/planet and then spread to other
planets through things like space dust, meteorites, or other cosmic processes.
o In simpler terms, it's the concept that life could have originally come from outer space and
been transported to Earth or other places, possibly through space objects.

o Litho panspermia: This suggests that life or organic molecules could be transported on rocks,
meteorites, or space dust from one celestial body to another. These objects could
potentially carry life or the ingredients for life to new environments.
o Radio panspermia: This hypothesis proposes that life could survive the harsh conditions of
space, such as extreme radiation, and be transported on space debris or particles, allowing it
to reach other planets.
o Solar Panspermia: This type of panspermia speculates that life or its components might be
transported within comets or dust particles that are affected by the solar wind and can
travel through space, potentially seeding life on other celestial bodies within a solar system.
