Dear Cindy,

This letter is to wholeheartedly recommend Kaitlyn Bridgers for the role of teacher’s aid at St.
Therese Academy.

I have known Kaitlyn for more than 10 years now, and I am proud that she selected me to be
her sponsor when she was received into the Catholic Church last year. She is hard working,
thoughtful and kind, and exhibits a maturity well beyond her years in this day and age. She has
been going to school full time while also working at Starbucks or a Jewish school. Quite a heavy
load and it requires her to juggle, but she is putting herself through school and helping to cover
household expenses -- something she should be proud of!

I think that Kaitlyn is well suited to working with children, and I’ve seen how my many nieces
and nephews gravitate to her. At family gatherings she always has my baby niece on her hip or
one of the preschool or elementary aged nephews talking to her or telling her a story. She has a
calm, peaceful demeanor that makes children feel secure and safe.

As a recent convert, Kaitlyn went through RCIA, so her knowledge of Church teaching is fresh.
As a practicing Catholic who attends mass weekly, she has the foundation to share her faith with
the children she interacts with in the role of teacher’s aid.

As someone who interacted with many fantastic teachers through my son’s 16 years of Catholic
education (preschool-8th at Santa Sophia, then Saint Augustine for high school) I can say that
the children and families of St. Therese will be blessed to have Kaitlyn be part of their education
experience.
