In a nutshell, the steps outlined above are the core ones you
must follow in order to perform Ghusl correctly.

water should reach your scalp.

Rub water over the whole body. Begin by pouring water over
your right shoulder up to three times, and then do the same to
the left. And pour the same number of times over your head
