Best practices for Inclusive leadership

As an educator, this is very much relevant to my work scope, and it is a very interesting topic.
From this session I learned in depth about inclusive leadership.
It is a genuine leadership approach that forbids favouritism, bias, and discrimination based on
race, colour, and other protected traits and enables workers to feel respected for their own
opinions.
All these factors are balanced by inclusive leadership because inclusive leaders quickly adapt to
various situations and opposing viewpoints while maintaining an open, non-judgmental attitude
to provide the greatest outcomes.
And research demonstrates that there are numerous advantages when done properly; teams
perform better, collaborate more, and arrive at better judgments overall.

Reflecting on the WLA:

 How has this session added to your journey as part of the Women’s Leadership
Academy?

Knowing the characteristic of Inclusive Leadership. And this reminds me of the term Cultural
Intelligence. A strong cultural intelligence allows a leader to easily move between various
cultural settings and, as such, communicate and market effectively in those spheres. Respected
inclusive leaders will pay attention to the words and experiences of others, and some companies
will even hire a chief diversity officer to ensure that diverse talents are employed, heard, and
activated.
